Invitation to the OTW Board Candidates and Call for Questions

We encourage candidates to discuss their platforms, views, and vision with the OTW membership in whatever forum they choose.

To that end, we at EndOTWRacism welcome all the candidates to our platform to discuss issues of racism in fandom and the OTW. We can be contacted through our askbox on Tumblr, a comment on this post, or via our email (endotwracism at gmail dot com).

For fans, we ask that you boost and share this message. We also welcome anyone with questions of their own on this topic to submit them in the comments or through email as we are currently compiling a list of questions for the candidates.

I'd love to hear about the candidates' thoughts about elitism in the Ao3 and how to make it more inclusive for all fans, particularly those outside the USA/Western world, those unable to work, and/or POC, who are some of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups, and who might not be able to ever afford the $10 it takes to become a member. What would they change in order for the OTW/AO3 to truly include everyone ? Thank you !
